Be carefull if you try to buy this phone because I did and now I have to send it back. The phone turns on fine and asks for a SIM; but when the SIM is installed, it detects it, but does not get a signal. The network provider works in the 900 Mhz GSM frequency band so it should have had a signal with no issue. Help from the seller was very poor, they just kept saying that it should work, but did not say a reason why it is not working. The box says that is it actually a locked phone instead of unlocked like advertised. The seller could not give me a answer on this either. If you live somewhere in America, I would advise not to buy the phone; you may get into trouble. Most phones are dual band, this one is only one band (900/1800).

I used this phone to receive message from China, but this phone cannot recognize Chinese letters. Only numbers and blanks.
And the telecommunication is horrible as well. Voice is not clear.

I bought this and sent it back home . Even though it was a factory unlocked this phone didn't work. Also it a old phone that they change the case just to make it nice in appearance . Very bad
