I needed something on a tight budget and almost settled for the lumia 720 (not saying this is better), was about to place my order when I stumbled on this phone. The battery life is better than decent, the screen is crisp with vivid colors and the whole OS experience is not that bad(considering I switched from a blackberry). What really got my attention was the fact that with ubiboot you can have 3-4 OS's on the device. I have always been a touchscreen person so wasn't really a problem adapting. Damn shame nokia didn't put more effort into developing meego for the N9/950 could have competed with the very best. Still running stock Meego and very pleased. the apps you need are mostly available, don't see why I need 500million apps when I used all but 12-24

If you want a smartphone like no other this is it, even though it uses meego which is not in continuation anymore in the tech market, this phone still beats alot of other phones on the market hands down. The sleek look looks like something out of a 007 film very thin and sleek but still thick enough to hold with one hand. You really don't need a digital camera with the camera on this cell phone 8MP is awesome on this phone the pictures are like a professional has taken them for all the ameuter picture takers out there.

If you are not going to need an app. for every passing fad and you like to use your phone w/ one hand, if you are tired of paying $80+/mo for throttled contract service and would like to pay $50/mo for unlimited out of contract service, if you travel outside the US, and if you would like to have a device that every Tom, Dick and Harry won't be sporting, this one is for you! Just keep in mind it is likely (and sadly) the first and last MeeGo device, doesn't support 4G, and is not officially supported in the States.

I changed my GS3 to this phone and this is absolutely best phone in the market right now. Build quality is amazing and also Symbian is working quite nicely in this one. Galaxy had bigger screen but build quality was next to nothing, 808 beats SG3 easily in build quality and I think that also the screen is better, at least it is more readable when you are using it outside. Camera is amazing, picture quality is better than in my Lumix LX3. I don't need digital camera any more, this phone is more than enought.

if you like take photoes, it is your choice. because the camera is amazing and it has photo editing function too. you can make a great picture, just use this phone and publish on facebook right now.
If you like to travel, it is your choice too, because no matter where you go , you can get the local map and GPS signal.
If you want a free version angery bird, it is becuase you buy this phone, you will got this game at same time.
you can check e-mail and do other thing which other smart phones can do.
conclusion is if you want a great smart phone and you want make your choice differnt than others, this is your phone.

Just got my 808 three days ago..and recieved FP2 (latest update) update two days later. This phone is stunning. UI is very smooth. Very well built. This is an excellent handset...it's hard to believe Nokia is not developing Nokia/Symbian much more. I've used Android and Apple and they both are very good OSes with thier strengths and weaknesses, but this phone is it. I also been seriously considered the Lumia 920, but this one takes them all. Very powerful, smooth, and flexible. Name it, this phone can do it. Only minus is apps avaiability and the intergrated Facebook Client is weak. It excells in connectivity and media performance. I"m sure down the road I'll be using a Nokia/WP device....when I wear our my 808 Pureview. May get another one for then!

i have never been so satisfied with any nokia phones and i had several before i bought this one. 4 years i have it and i am still using it. it has great camera that shoots nice photos, touch screen is flawless, i don't even calibrate it. it is durable (dropped it several times no scratch).
i have seen people install windows xp on this device somehow, not mentioning meego. but this matters if you like to tease your phone a bit.
for past year there has been no software update though.
still this piece of machinery is great. don't forget to buy screen protectors.

When I purchased this phone it won't turn on.Never purchase items that are shipped from outside the US.It's a headache dealing with the Vendor. I really wanted this phone, but I might have to find another Vendor in the US,and not in Hong Kong where it was shipped from.

Stopped workign after a month. touch screen sopped working, no button works... Seller said after 30days they don't have return policy.
I contacted Nokia and they said this phone is not intended to be used or marketed in USA.

I needed to replace a broken smart phone but all I really needed was a phone for making calls and texting. This is an excellent phone for that purpose. I use ATT and I dropped the SIM Card in, called ATT gave them the IMEI Number and SIM Card Number and turned the phone on. Works like a charm. Very nice for Texting since it maintains Conversations. I have to say that I am very pleased with this phone choice and given the opportunity would make the same one. If you are looking for a non smart phone and need to text this is a Great choice of phone.

I love this phone and all it's features, especially, the keyboard. However, the handset speaker isn't working and hasn't since day one. I must return it for a new one as it is under warranty. I was very pleased with the communication and the shipping. And I know when I have this small problem corrected, this will be my favorite phone ever. From the moment I opened the box I was pretty impressed. I wanted something different from what everyone else has and At&t only has the same tired stuff. From the 8 GB memory card (for lots of music & games), all the cool attachments (earbuds w/ a tiny remote, tv a/v cable, etc...), GPS, and a bunch of cool apps already set up in the phone. I was sold. Granted, I was just a little bit disappointed with the 3.2 MP camera (but who cares! Thats what digital cameras are for). I've never had the i-phone but I work w/ someone who has one and she can't make video calls with hers(hee-hee)!! In conclusion, I really think its a great phone from a reputable company.

I thought it was a reasonable price for a Nokia touch screen phone with WiFi, 3G, GPS, etc. and costs lot less than Iphone too, so I ordered it. But it starts having a problem less than two weeks since I use it. It froze on me everytime when I go online, go to menu, go to apps(I have downloaded some apps), and before I decided to return it, both the dialer pad and contact list pad don't work at all no matters how many times I press it. It SUCKS the big time!!!I strongly do not recommend this phone at all!! If you want a touch screen phone, get an Iphone or Droid.

Had this cell phone for almost a year now, and I'm very satisfied with it! It does all the multi-media requirements that I want: MP3 music, videos at 640x360 resolution, GPS, Carl Zeiss Camera lens with flash, 16GB flash space, multi-tasking with open applications, and not to mention the call clarity when using voice calls! Texting is also a breeze - just use the on-screen QWERTY keyboard for SMS or Email messages. This phone was also featured in the Dark Knight movie when they were in Hong Kong. Simply amazing!

I got this phone and it was great and was amazing with my win8 desktop and tablet. 1 week after purchase the touch screen quit working. took it to a repair center and they said the motherboard had melted because of over use, which equates to about an hour of reading documents online, etc.

I love it ....the best NOKIA yet!! I am very loyal to the Nokia brand. The only thing is that there is no indication when you have missed a call or message. You have to turn on the phone to see it. My other Nokia the E72 had a blinking light that made you aware that you had missed a contact.

If you want a simple flip phone without the bells and whistles of the more common phones that have internet, ect. than this if for you. It has great simple features. It has an extra loud ringer setting and an option for a simultanious ringer/vibration setting which I like best. On other flip phones, it's either or. Great price too. I love this phone.

I was just looking for a nice phone for my aunt. She is more than 60 and she can barely see the screen of most cell phones. Thank God she loved this one... all she needs to do is read the sms, answer and make phone calls... ohhhh she also wanted to listen to music on it. This cell phone is pretty easy to use for her... numbers on screen are quite big, and she can listen to the radio on it... the camera is ok for the price.

very simple phone to use. I bought this phone for my mom because she is getting to the older side of the age. She needed a keypad that was easy to look at, and for phone use only...no texting etc. She likes it! Cant complain yet.
